Due to the closed nature of the container, possible damages can be concealed until arrival at the final destination and container operator will be unaware of such kind of damage.Theft and pilferage, water damage, sweat damage, poor stowage and temperature damages are the root cause of the claims on dry cargo containers.Collapsing of containers may cause from different issues. The root cause may be a combination of various occurrences and effects. Many traces of evidence can be concealed a collapsed stow or damaged container.

Oil and Chemical

The transport of liquid bulk cargo refers mainly to crude oil, fuel oil, chemicals and vegetable oils, but can also mean fruit juice concentrate. Investigation of claims on liquid cargo is completely different from that of solid cargoes. More than for other cargoes, the investigation of claims on liquid bulk cargo requires an analytical approach: not only literally by using special laboratories for sampling and analyzing but also figuratively by checking the vast amount of records made by the crew during pre-loading and transportation.

Dry Bulk

Wide range of solid bulk cargoes is considerable: iron ore, coal, grain, alumina, fertilizers, scrap, sugar, Sulphur, cement etc. and not forgetting a large number of agricultural products for the human and animal food industry, such as rice, corn, tapioca, copra, palm expellers.
